For the past three years I studied Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management and this year I wanted to do something different. When I saw that the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team was recruiting, I immediately knew that I wanted to be a part of the team. I am really excited to use the knowledge I obtained and to take up the challenge of winning the Monaco Open Sea Class. I joined the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team because I believe hydrogen can make a huge impact in the maritime industry. Within Operations I am part of Exposure, I am responsible for external events and how we present ourselves to the world. In this role I can learn a lot about the organisation of events and also about the strategy of using social media. Besides my own tasks I can also learn a lot from other team members about the technical aspects of the hydrogen boat. I am really looking forward to working together with our team this year, to show our boat to the world and to inspire the maritime industry for a sustainable future.
