After my 4th year of my bachelor Electrical Engineering I wanted to do something more practical. The study is rather theoretical and I really wanted to use the knowledge I gained these past years. When I talked to members of the previous team, I knew that I wanted to contribute to the 2023 boat. Besides the amazing experience it is also very resourceful for the rest of my engineering career. Therefore I applied for an engineering position at the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team. This year I will work in the Embedded Systems department. Within the department, I will be responsible for the Pilot Interface, the Dashboard and the Communications. This year I will show together with the rest of my team that hydrogen powered vessels are the near future for the maritime industry. Together with my department we will make sure the boat has reliable software and electrical hardware! And that in one year!
