Since I started my bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at the TU Delft I wanted to be part of a Dream Team. Now that I finished my bachelor in three years it was the perfect situation to do so. I grew up next to water, so the TU Delft Hydro Motion Team suits me perfectly. As this year’s Chief Vehicle Dynamics, I will, together with my department, be responsible for all the moving systems in the boat. This includes the driveline, foils, cooling and the height control system. Personally I will focus on the height control system. This includes all the dynamics of the boat and will enable us to get the boat foil in a stable manner! Besides my engineering function, I will also focus on managing the Vehicle Dynamics department. It is my task to make sure that every engineer knows what to do and make sure that we finish the deadlines in time. All in all, building a boat in one year will be a huge challenge and with our team I’m sure it will be an awesome experience!
