In the past years of my Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering I have always felt that the programme lacks the practical application of theoretical knowledge that is learnt in the curriculum. Being a part of the Hydro Motion Team as Vehicle Dynamics Engineer allows me to gain hands-on experience and develop new skills linked to my field, all the while working towards a more sustainable future in the maritime industry.

As the strut engineer, I design the connection between the hydrofoils and the hull to make our boat fly above the water. The struts are important load-bearing components that house critical parts, such as the driveshaft and cooling tubes. My role focuses on optimising these parts to ensure safe flight, giving our boat unparalleled sailing performance.
