As a kid, I’ve always had a passion for boats and sailing. During high school and university, I developed an ardent interest in technology, energy, and the transition toward sustainable energy.

After obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics last summer, I wanted to pursue a new challenge where I could apply my acquired knowledge. The TU Hydro Motion Team provided the perfect opportunity for me to combine both my personal and academic interests.

As Chief Engineer, I’m responsible for integrating the different subsystems into the boat. I will achieve this by ensuring good communication between the team's engineers, keeping the quality standards high, and letting all engineers thrive to the best of their abilities.

This year's scope of using an alternative hydrogen carrier obviously brings with it multiple technological challenges. My role is to ensure that these challenges are spotted timely and handled adequately, thus prioritizing quality and safety.
