High Voltage Engineer
After recently graduating with my bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, I decided to take a full gap year to broaden my skills with Hydro Motion. I was looking for hands-on experience with engineering systems, and with an interest in many water sports, designing a hydrogen-powered boat seemed like the perfect challenge for me.
As a powertrain engineer, I am responsible for delivering energy to the rest of the boat using hydrogen. This includes storing and converting the hydrogen to generate power, maintaining the operating temperatures of each system, and managing the high voltage on board. Our department will make sure the boat can be pushed to its limits to win the MEBC 2027.
