Hey there! Welcome! Let me introduce myself: my name is Erik van Weelderen. I am a sixth (yeah, really) year student currently taking a break from my Master's Computer and Embedded System Engineering. In the past years, I have had the pleasure of completing the Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering and gaining practical experience by being active at my associations. However, I had never applied my theoretical knowledge of electrical engineering in a real world setting. So, joining the Hydro Motion seemed like the only solution! As an Embedded Engineer, I am responsible for all the cables and the brain of the boat. Because my job is connected with all other departments, I will spend a lot of time working with my colleagues. And exactly that is what intrigued me. I adore the idea of everyone working on their own tasks, seeing our passions combine into one tangible boat, and of course winning in Monaco! I am really excited what the future will hold!
