From a young age, I was inspired by TU Delft. During a visit to the Science Centre, I first discovered the Dream Teams, which sparked my ambition to study here. Later, while pursuing my bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, my family often shared articles about TU Delft, most of them about these inspiring student teams. That is how I came across the Hydro Motion Team: a team dedicated to innovation, demonstrating the potential of hydrogen to the world and contributing to stimulate the maritime sector. Now, I have the unique opportunity to experience the non-technical side of such a project. As Finance Manager, I focus on safeguarding the team’s financial health and liquidity, ensuring that our resources are used effectively to achieve our goals. At the same time, as part of the management, I help facilitate and oversee the broad range of activities within the team, supporting both engineers and operations. I am proud to be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of sustainable innovation. Together, we aim to show what is possible and inspire the shift towards a more sustainable future.
