Structural Engineer
Already before deciding what I wanted to study at TU Delft, I knew that I wanted to become part of a Dream Team one day. Now, as I finish my bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Hydro Motion gives me the opportunity to put what I have learned into practice while working on something I have always been passionate about: vehicles. Given my strong interest in cars, boats and aircraft, as well as racing, Hydro Motion felt like a natural choice.
As the Structural Analysis Engineer and part of the Hull & Body department, I am in charge of analysing the structural integrity of our boat and ensuring that it is strong enough to withstand the conditions it will be subjected to. I see this as a great way to develop my engineering skills while also growing personally through working in a multidisciplinary team towards a common goal: winning both the 2027 MEBC Sealab class and the 160 km race on Lake Geneva!
