As Powertrain Engineer, I am in charge of the hydrogen system of our boat. My main responsibility is to ensure that both the gaseous and liquid hydrogen from the tanks are supplied to the fuel cell safely and efficiently. This system forms the heart of our vessel’s powertrain, and managing it requires a careful balance between performance, innovation, and safety. Alongside my work in the Hydro Motion Team, I am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the TU Delft. Throughout my studies, I have developed a broad understanding of different engineering applications, from thermodynamics and fluid mechanics to control systems and materials science. I joined the Hydro Motion Team to put this knowledge into practice and to challenge myself in a multidisciplinary, real-world project. Working with hydrogen as an energy carrier allows me to explore cutting-edge technology and contribute to the future of sustainable maritime transport.
